The Vortex86DX3 is a highly integrated 32-bit x86-based dual-core microprocessor designed for embedded applications. The processor is compatible with Windows, Linux, and many popular 32-bit real-time operating systems (RTOS) for exceptional stability and flexibility. The Vortex86DX3 is housed in a 720-pin BGA package and has a wide range of built-in functional modules, including PCIe interface, DDR3 memory controller, ISA interface, I2C, SPI, Fast Ethernet, USB 2.0 host, IDE/SATA controller, etc., providing an efficient and complete solution for industrial automation, communication equipment, and embedded systems.
The processor supports dual-core symmetric multitasking (SMP) up to 1 GHz, with high-performance features such as a 6-stage pipeline, embedded L1 and L2 cache memory, and a branch prediction unit. Its built-in GPU control unit supports a variety of display resolutions (up to 1920x1440@60Hz for single display and up to 1280x1024@60Hz for dual displays), which can meet multimedia and image processing needs.
