Heatpipes

Heatpipes offer rapid heat spreading on heat sinks of various designs, such as extruded heat sinks, skived fin heat sinks or bonded fin heat sinks. They effectively transport heat to more distant areas of the heat sink, which promotes even heat distribution and prevents the formation of hotspots. In combination with fans, heatpipes achieve an even more effective cooling performance, especially for components with high power dissipation.
