Testing microcontroller code is a time-consuming and manual process. Teams typically rely on lab equipment and HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test benches connected to on custom PCBs. Often, automated testing is only performed with the final hardware by a verification department.

Our product revolutionizes this process by enabling teams to write automated tests for microcontroller code from the beginning of development.The ExecutionPlatform is a generic test system that changes the way teams develop embedded code.

Once you have decided on a microcontroller, your team can use our hardware to test your firmware. The ExecutionPlatform supports all levels of testing: Unit tests, HW/SW integration tests and system tests. If required, you can test code simultaneously for a whole range of different microcontrollers and configurations without additional effort.

With the generic ExecutionPlatform, the only project-specific component is the microcontroller itself, which is directly connected to the test system with all its pins. At pin level, the ExecutionPlatform supports a variety of common digital interfaces - such as GPIO, UART, CAN, I²C and Ethernet - as well as analog interfaces. These comprehensive interfaces allow you to reuse a standardized set of logical test endpoints in multiple projects.

You can also use these logical test endpoints to create digital twin simulations of the environment.This digital twin works in hard real-time and simplifies testing of all firmware aspects - including robust error handling through fault injection testing.

This innovation makes the ExecutionPlatform the first truly generic test system for microcontrollers.
