With energy harvesting, vibrations on devices, machines, buildings or temperature differences between pipes, cables, etc. and the environment can be used to generate electrical energy.

Our Low Power Wide Area Network LPWAN mioty® sets new standards in the field of wireless data transmission in terms of scalability, cost efficiency, range, transmission security and battery life. Our demonstration shows an energy self-sufficient mioty® base station and energy self-sufficient sensors powered by energy harvesting in an agricultural use case. We also present various chipsets and platforms on which mioty® can be used.
