About us

LPKF Laser & Electronics SE - Tomorrow's Technology Today

LPKF Laser & Electronics SE stands for precision, innovation and efficiency in micro material processing worldwide. With subsidiaries and representatives in 79 countries, more than 700 employees and a global 24/7 service, we focus on technological leadership, in-depth expertise and excellent service quality. As a high-tech machine manufacturer, LPKF develops innovative production technologies that are used in various growth markets such as semiconductors & electronics, life science & medical technology, smart mobility and research & development.

Rapid prototyping - from idea to printed circuit board in one day

A particular focus is on the rapid prototyping of printed circuit boards. LPKF systems make it possible to produce single-sided, double-sided and multilayer PCBs in-house in just one day - from structuring and through-hole plating to assembly and reflow soldering. This offers developers maximum flexibility and significantly accelerates innovation cycles.

Diverse technologies for a wide range of applications

LPKF develops and produces a wide range of high-performance systems:

  • Electronics manufacturing: Our laser systems enable high-precision cutting of stencils and depaneling of PCBs.
  • Laser plastic welding: From compact inline systems to robot-guided production cells for large-area plastic components.
  • Solar technology: The subsidiary LPKF SolarQuipment is a leader in laser scribing of solar panels and is expanding its portfolio to include laser-assisted digital printing on glass surfaces.
  • Active Mold Packaging: Additive circuit integration in epoxy mold compounds for the chip industry.
  • LIDE technology: Revolutionary glass processing for biochemistry and other high-tech applications - without microcracks or optical impairments.
  • Laboratory systems: Non-contact processing of sensitive materials such as ceramics or populated boards.
  • ARRALYZE: New standards in biotechnology. ARRALYZE combines state-of-the-art microfluidics with laser processing, opening up completely new possibilities in medical research and diagnostics.

Tomorrow's Technology Today

LPKF stands for the implementation of pioneering innovations in the present. It describes the aspiration not only to research technological advances, but also to put them into practice at an early stage. Cutting-edge research, rapid prototype development and agile manufacturing processes make pioneering solutions usable today - for greater efficiency, precision and competitive advantages.
