Micro Crystal introduces its new series of ultra-small Real-Time Clock Module dedicated to extreme small sized and lightweight designs.

The launch of the third installment in the C8 series of Real-Time Clock Modules is empowering designers to create electronic devices that are not only more compact and lightweight but also to achieve significant reductions in power consumption, thanks to a remarkable timekeeping feature that operates at just 70 nA.

The C8 series merges a CMOS dedicated RTC chip with an embedded micro-sized quartz crystal within a 2.0 x 1.2 mm 8-pin ceramic casing. Featuring a dependable hermetically vacuum-sealed metal lid, this latest addition to the C8 lineup provides a low-profile of only 0.6 mm.
