The UAD2next (Universal Access Device 2next) is the all-rounder of the UDE® debugging system for efficient and reliable debugging, tracing and flash programming.

The UAD2next complements the UDE® Universal Debug Engine and enables robust, efficient and fast communication with the supported architectures and controllers. Thanks to the flexible adapter concept of the Universal Access Device family, the UAD2next supports a variety of different debug interfaces. An optional range extender bridges distances of up to two meters between the target and the UAD2next. The UAD2next can be expanded with plug-in trace modules that allow recording of trace data from various on-chip trace sources such as AURIX™ MCDS, Arm® CoreSight™ or NEXUS Class 3. The UAD2next combines state-of-the-art debug functions and CAN with trace functions. This makes it ideal for efficient system-level debugging, testing and analysis.

Thanks to the additional Ethernet interface, the UAD2next is ideally suited as a remote debugger and can be used, for example, in HIL systems.
