The SM770 is a high-performance USB Display interfaceSoC that supports up to three concurrent 4K UHD(3840x2160@60p) displays, leveraging Silicon Motion'sinnovative CAT™ (Content Adaptive Technology) andemploys multiple image and video processing algorithmsto compress display data and minimize bandwidth usageto deliver ultra-low latency from the computer to themonitors. By transferring most of the compression work toa hardware accelerator, CAT technology operates moreefficiently and reduces the CPU load.

For seamless multi-display extension, the SM770 featuresthe user-friendly InstantView® software application. Thistool effortlessly configures host content for any displaywithout the need for a display driver.
