embedded award 2023: More submissions than ever before
Nominees for the embedded award have now been confirmed
"I was impressed this year by the continuing high level of innovation in the industry and especially by the gratifyingly wide bandwidth of the submissions. We have companies from all regions of the world. Applications came from many start-ups, small and large SMEs and also from some major corporations," emphasizes jury chairman Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora.
All together 98 applications were submitted – a new record for the embedded award. "This figure shows the high regard in which this award is held in the embedded industry," says a delighted Benedikt Weyerer, Executive Director of the embedded world Exhibition&Conference.
Two new categories
In addition to the traditional Hardware, Tools, Software, Embedded Vision, Safety&Security and Start-up, the embedded award 2023 will also be given in the new categories Artificial Intelligence and SoC/IP/IC Design (System-on-Chip/Intellectual Property/Integrated Circuit).
"More than ever this year it has been noticeable how strongly the different categories are interdependent and how important the comprehensive systems approach of embedded world is," emphasizes Prof. Sikora.
Award ceremony as a networking event
For the first time, the embedded world Exhibition&Conference event team is organizing an exclusive networking event for nominees at the embedded award ceremony.
"With this informal setting, we hope to encourage an intensive exchange among nominees and award winners. And afterwards, the guests can continue to celebrate at the exhibitors' party," says Weyerer.
