Optical Engineering & Optical Design:

  • Tailor-made optical design for systems with a spectral range from UV over VIS to the far infrared for applications in the fields of imaging, beam shaping, illumination or detection.
  • Specific know-how in optical design of free-from optics, low-cost lenses and plastic optics.
  • BSDF measurement services for analysis and simulation.
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering for integration of an optical system into a module or device.
  • Sealing of housings according to IP and cost reductions.

Embedded Vision, Image Processing & AI:

  • Development of customized single board computers (SBCs) for embedded vision applications. To provide you with a competitive offer, we utilize a reference design as a basis for customized SBCs. The design allows individual configuration of performance (scalable processor, RAM and memory), interfaces and other additional components to customer requirements. Both, the reference design and the Linux operating system can be used license-free.
  • Camera modules: make-or-buy decisions with sourcing in Asia or an individual development.
  • Development of camera MIPI-drivers (Linux), image enhancement and ISP-tuning.
  • Customized image processing algorithms for embedded systems, based on OpenCV or AI (TensorFlow).

Sensor Systems & Devices:

  • Development of cost-optimized sensor systems and modules for mass production: The systems and modules are optimized for your application and the relevant measurement range.
  • In-depth knowledge of high-performance optical measurement technologies like time-of-flight, LiDAR, laser optics and spectroscopy.
  • Algorithm development and data processing.
