Product information

Body biasing is a disruptive feature of GlobalFoundries® 22FDX®, enabling post-silicon adaptation of transistor threshold voltages. The Racyics® ABX® IP Platform leverages adaptive body biasing (ABB) technology to ensure reliable and predictable ultra-low-voltage (ULV) operation down to 0.4V, effectively compensating for process, supply voltage, and temperature (PVT) variations to guarantee optimal timing and power efficiency with high yield.

By combining our Racyics® ABX® adaptive body bias (ABB) generator IP, with our fully ABB-aware characterized standard cell libraries and SRAM with operation scenarios down to 0.40V, a comprehensive solution for maximizing the advantages of GlobalFoundries® 22FDX® is provided. The memory offering includes a single-rail SRAM solution (nominal 0.55V) featuring full body bias enablement for minimal dynamic power consumption and a low leakage dual-rail SRAM solution which is enabled down to 0.4V core supply.

All IPs are enabled for seamless integration based on a standard design flow and sign-off full visibility of the ABB timing and power benefits at design implementation time.

Furthermore, the Racyics® ABX® IP Platform supports specific temperature ranges for biomedical applications and is in enablement for cryogenic applications.
